The Greater Bengaluru Authority has announced special e-Khata open house sessions across several parts of Bengaluru on May 23, 2026, under the Bhoo Guarantee–6th Guarantee scheme.

The initiative, titled “My Khata My Right Campaign,” will run from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM and aims to help property owners resolve pending Khata-related issues through on-the-spot assistance and grievance redressal services.

According to the civic authority, the open house sessions are designed to simplify property documentation processes and improve citizen access to municipal services.

Services Available At The e-Khata Open House

Residents visiting the camps will be able to:

  • Resolve e-Khata grievances
  • Get on-the-spot assistance for documentation
  • Seek guidance related to Khata registration and transfer
  • Access support for Khata-related service requests

The camps are expected to benefit property owners facing delays or complications in obtaining or transferring Khata records.

The sessions will be held across several Bengaluru zones, including Whitefield, Koramangala, Jayanagar, Padmanabhanagar, Yeshwanthpur, and Kempegowda Nagar. Citizens can also file e-Khata grievances online through the official grievance portal announced by the authority.

Why Khata Is Important For Property Owners

A Khata is an important municipal document that confirms a property is officially recorded in the civic authority’s tax records.

The absence of a Khata may create administrative and financial difficulties for homeowners. While a Khata itself is not proof of legal ownership, it plays a key role in property tax payments, utility approvals, and loan processing.

Conclusion

The Bengaluru e-Khata open house initiative could provide major relief for property owners struggling with municipal documentation and grievance resolution. With on-the-spot support and guidance available across multiple locations, the campaign is expected to streamline Khata services and improve access to property-related civic processes for Bengaluru residents.
