PM Modi Launches Infrastructure Projects Worth ₹5,125 Crore in Arunachal Pradesh

The Heo project, expected to generate 1,000 million units yearly, has a capacity of 240 MW and is being developed at a cost of ₹1,939 crore. Both projects are collaborative efforts between the Arunachal Pradesh government and NEEPCO, significantly boosting regional energy infrastructure.

Strengthening Tourism Through Tawang Convention Centre

In a move to enhance tourism and cultural engagement, the Prime Minister laid the foundation for a state-of-the-art convention centre in Tawang. Developed under the PM-DevINE scheme, the ₹145.37 crore facility will seat over 1,500 people and meet international standards, serving as a multipurpose hub for events, festivals, and tourism activities in the region.

PM Modi also unveiled additional projects worth more than ₹1,290 crore that span multiple sectors. These include improvements in road connectivity, fire services, and healthcare infrastructure. The event held at Indira Gandhi Park in Itanagar was attended by Arunachal Pradesh Governor KT Parnaik, Chief Minister Pema Khandu, and Union Minister Kiren Rijiju.
