Karnataka Government Clears Investment Proposals Worth ₹29,679 Crore to Create 66,360 Jobs

The Karnataka Government has approved ₹29,679.20 crore of investment proposals under new projects as well as expansion and amendment in existing investments. In combination, the accepted plans will develop 66,360 profession clearings around the state.
The clearances were given by the State High Level Clearance Committee (SHLCC) at its 68th meeting on September 2, chaired by Chief Minister D K Shivakumar.
Hero Future Energies Leads New Investments
Nine new projects account for ₹25,710.56 crore of the total investment and are expected to create 64,349 jobs.
Hero Future Energies has proposed the largest investment among these projects at ₹9,760 crore, with around 3,200 jobs expected. Nirani Sugars follows with ₹4,062.6 crore, while Trualt Bioenergy has proposed ₹2,988 crore.
In terms of employment, Vibrancy Real Estates stands out with 30,000 jobs expected from its ₹2,195.94-crore proposal. Trualt Bioenergy's project is expected to create another 21,436 jobs.
Other proposals cleared include those from Mahindra Aerostructures, Aequs Consumer Products, Epsilon Cam, Toyota Kirloskar Motor and Lighthouse Canton Alternatives Asset Manager.
TVS Motor And Honda Cars Among Expansion Plans
The SHLCC also approved eight additional investment or amendment proposals involving ₹3,968.64 crore. These are expected to add 2,011 jobs.
The companies named in the proposals include TVS Motor Company, MSPL, Honda Cars India, Bheema Fine Chemicals, Sansera Engineering, Havells India and Nsure Reliable Power Solutions.
Chief Minister Orders Pre-Audit of Projects
Alongside the approvals, Shivakumar asked officials to examine project reports carefully before industrial licences are granted. He directed the Finance Department to make pre-audits mandatory before approvals and called for a new audit team for the process.
He also directed officials to ensure compliance with the state's industrial policy and support the establishment and expansion of industries.

The latest clearances bring nearly ₹29,700 crore of proposed investment into the state's approval pipeline. The projects covered by the meeting are expected to create 66,360 jobs across Karnataka.
