
Indian startups raised nearly $82.2 million this week across 17 funding deals, as per an Entrackr report. The total included two growth-stage investments, 13 early-stage rounds, and two deals where the funding amount was not disclosed.
In the previous week, 16 startups had raised around $164 million, making this week's funding almost half of the earlier total. The average weekly funding over the last eight weeks stands at around $316 million.
Early-stage startups accounted for $61.1 million raised through 13 deals. Arboreal Bioinnovations recorded the largest funding round after raising ₹230 crore (more than $24 million) in a Series A round.
Aham Housing Finance followed with ₹100 crore in follow-on funding, while Omega Seiki Mobility secured ₹50 crore from a group of investors. Funding was also announced by Fixxly, Revspot, SUIND, House of Student and several other startups during the week.
Only two growth-stage transactions were announced during the week, with total funding reaching $21.1 million. Apna Mart raised ₹120 crore (around $12.7 million) in a Series C round backed by Accel India, Fundamentum and Peak XV Partners.
Sid's Farm, a dairy company based in Hyderabad, secured more than ₹81 crore (around $8.4 million)through a pre-Series B funding round.
Bengaluru recorded seven funding deals, the highest among Indian startup hubs this week. Delhi-NCR followed with five deals, while Mumbai, Hyderabad and Chennai also reported investment activity.
By sector, fintech, edtech and e-commerce accounted for two deals each. Funding was also recorded in AI, EV, foodtech, dairy tech, proptech and FMCG. Seed funding led with seven transactions, followed by six Series A rounds.
The week also saw four fund launches, eight senior-level appointments, one acquisition and one ESOP liquidity programme.
Fashion brand Snitch acquired women's apparel label Berrylush, while healthtech startup Templecompleted a secondary share sale that valued the company at $375 million and enabled its first ESOP liquidity programme.
Companies also announced a number of product launches and partnerships during the week. Separately, Zepto deferred its planned IPO and is reportedly considering a ₹1,000 crore pre-IPO fundraising round.
An Entrackr report also noted that India's physical AI sector attracted $155 million in funding during 2026.

Early-stage funding continued to dominate startup investments despite an overall decline in weekly funding. Corporate activity also included acquisitions, fund launches, ESOP transactions and executive appointments.
