BSNL Launches Special Mobile Plan for Students at ₹251 on Children’s day

BSNL has introduced an attractively priced mobile plan aimed at students, timed to coincide with Children’s Day and available from 14 November to 13 December 2025. The new offering enables students to access large data volumes and unlimited voice calls at a pocket-friendly cost, as the company expands its 4G nationwide rollout. 

Key Development 

The student mobile plan is priced at ₹251 and includes 100 GB high-speed data, unlimited voice calls and 100 SMS per day, valid for 28 days.  

The offer is designed to encourage adoption of BSNL’s pan-India 4G network infrastructure, recently built with “Made in India” technology, positioning BSNL as one of the few domestic operators with such nationwide deployment.

As per PIB, BSNL’s CMD, A. Robert J. Ravi, noted that the plan is tailored to students’ digital-first learning and entertainment needs, offering a cost-effective way to experience the network’s capabilities. He added that once students become familiar with BSNL’s services, the operator expects strong retention and longer-term loyalty.
