Dynamatic Technologies Limited has signed a contract with Aequs Private Limited for the supply of over 200 complex structural parts for Airbus’ A220 Door Program. This five-year agreement mandates Aequs to handle the manufacturing and delivery of these critical components, which involve intricate processes such as tool design, forgings, machining, and surface treatments. At 2:40 PM, Dynamatic Technologies Ltd’s shares were trading at ₹8,323.55 today, down by ₹183.90 (2.16%), though it has surged by 62.54% year-to-date.

Strengthening Collaboration

This partnership reinforces the collaboration between Dynamatic Technologies and Aequs, 2 prominent entities in the global aerospace supply chain. Dynamatic’s CEO, Udayant Malhoutra, emphasised the alignment of this collaboration, stating that the partnership leverages Aequs’ capabilities to support global aerospace standards.

Aravind Melligeri, Chairman and CEO of Aequs, highlighted the contract as a reflection of the growing maturity of India’s aerospace ecosystem and its role in the global supply chain.

Advancing ‘Make in India’ Vision

This agreement complements Airbus’ broader commitment to its supply chain in India. Earlier this year, Airbus awarded Dynamatic Technologies a contract for manufacturing and assembling all doors for its A220 narrowbody aircraft. The arrangement also creates opportunities for other Indian suppliers to contribute to the aerospace supply chain, aligning with the Government of India’s ‘Make in India’ initiative.

Operational Footprint and Capacity

Dynamatic Technologies operates facilities in Bengaluru, Chennai, Coimbatore, Nasik, the UK, and Germany. The company is into precision aerospace components and airframe structures.

Aequs, with its base in the Belagavi Aerospace Cluster (BAC), India’s first precision manufacturing SEZ, works across the aerospace value chain, including forging, machining, and assembly. Its facilities in the USA and France further strengthen its global operations.
