Similarly, 22-carat and 18-carat gold prices also witnessed gains across major cities.

While gold prices moved higher, silver prices slipped slightly on Thursday. The price of silver fell 0.26% from the previous close.
Silver was trading at ₹262.82 per gram, down ₹0.69 from Wednesday's level. The price of 10 grams of silver stood at ₹2,628.20, while 1 kilogram was priced at ₹2,62,820 in Mumbai.
