Gold prices surged nearly 2% across India on June 1, 2026, with 24-carat gold reaching ₹1,59,530 per 10 grams, while silver remained largely unchanged.

Gold prices witnessed a strong rise across India on June 1, 2026. The price of 24-carat gold increased by 1.92% compared to the previous trading session, reaching ₹15,953 per gram or ₹1,59,530 per 10 grams. The rally was reflected across all purity levels, including 22-carat and 18-carat gold. 

The price of 24-carat gold stood at ₹15,953 per gram, up by ₹300 from the previous day. Similarly, 22-carat gold was priced at ₹14,623.58 per gram, gaining ₹275, while 18-carat gold rose by ₹225 to ₹11,964.75 per gram.

Gold prices varied slightly across major Indian cities. Chennai recorded one of the highest prices, with 24-carat gold at ₹1,59,990 per 10 grams. Hyderabad followed closely at ₹1,59,780, while Ahmedabad and Surat reported ₹1,59,740 each.

Silver Rate Today in India 

Silver prices remained largely stable on June 1, 2026. The metal was trading at ₹267.34 per gram, up by just ₹0.04 from the previous close. This represents a marginal increase of 0.01%.

Gold prices started June on a strong note, with all purity categories recording gains of nearly 2% across India.
