Closing Bell: Sensex, Nifty End in Red; UltraTech Cement Leads Gainers on October 24

On October 24, 2024, both the BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty50 ended the day lower. The BSE Sensex closed at 80,065.16, down by 16.82 points or 0.02%. Similarly, the Nifty50 also closed at 24,399.40, down by 36.10 points or 0.15%.
Sectoral Performance
On Thursday, Nifty PSU Bank, Nifty Midsmall Healthcare and Nifty Bank ended in green. Nifty FMCG, Nifty Realty and Nifty Auto ended in the red. Nifty FMCG and Nifty Realty dropped by more than 1%.
Top Gainers and Losers
On Thursday, the top gainers on the Nifty include UltraTech Cement, Shriram Finance and Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M). In contrast, the losers were Hindustan Unilever (HUL), SBI Life Insurance Company and Hindalco Industries.
Oil Prices
