His extensive background in refinery and petrochemical operations makes him an ideal fit to drive CPCL’s future initiatives.
About Shri Arvinder Singh Sahney
Shri Sahney is a seasoned chemical engineer from Harcourt Butler Technical Institute (HBTI), Kanpur, with over three decades of expertise in the refining and petrochemical sector. Before his current role as Chairman of IOCL, he contributed significantly to IndianOil’s strategic projects. Notably, he led the commissioning of the 15 MMTPA Paradip Refinery, enhancing India’s refining capabilities and energy security.
Under his leadership, IndianOil’s petrochemical division has conceptualised and initiated projects like the mega Petrochemical Complex at Paradip, set to expand the company’s market footprint.
