The defence PSU, Bharat Dynamics Limited’s (BDL) board has approved a final dividend of ₹0.65 per share on May 27, 2025. BDL said in the exchange filing, “We would like to inform you that the Board of Directors of the Company have recommended a final Dividend @ Rs 0.65 per share (face value of Rs.5 each) for the year ended 31.03.2025. This dividend, upon approval by the shareholders at the ensuing Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be paid within 30 days from the date of the AGM”
However, the company is yet to fix the record date for the said dividend.

Bharat Dynamics Limited (BDL) has announced a series of dividends over the past two years. On February 14, 2025, the company declared an interim dividend of ₹4.00 per share. Prior to that, a final dividend of ₹0.85 was issued on September 23, 2024. Earlier in the same year, an interim dividend amounting to ₹8.85 was paid on April 2, 2024. In the previous financial year, a final dividend of ₹1.20 was distributed on September 20, 2023. These payouts reflect BDL’s consistent approach to rewarding its shareholders.

Bharat Dynamics Limited (BDL) reported its Q4FY25 result, showing a slight decline in profitability. The company’s standalone net profit slipped by 5.54% year-on-year (YoY) to ₹272.77 crore, compared to ₹288.78 crore recorded in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal year.
Despite the dip in profit, BDL’s operational performance saw significant growth, with total revenue from operations more than doubling to ₹1,776.98 crore in Q4FY25, up from ₹854.12 crore in Q4FY24.
