Bajaj Finserv Ltd has received regulatory approval from the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (IRDAI) to acquire a 26% equity stake held by Allianz SE in its insurance subsidiaries, Bajaj Allianz General Insurance Company Ltd and Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance Company Ltd.
The acquisition will be carried out by Bajaj Finserv, its promoter Bajaj Holdings & Investment Ltd, and promoter group entity Jamnalal Sons Pvt Ltd.
