Esports is increasingly being viewed not just as entertainment but also as a contributor to the Indian economy. With its growing popularity, the esports industry is projected to add over ₹1,100 crore to the economy by 2025. The country is expected to have over 1.5 million esports athletes by then, indicating strong traction in both participation and viewership.
Colab Platforms’ entry into this space aligns with these industry tailwinds and could be part of a broader strategy to leverage long-term digital trends.
