Mean Deviation

One important concept in finance is the absolute deviation, which measures the average distance between a set of numbers and their mean. This is useful for understanding the variability within a data set and can be used to evaluate risk and make informed financial decisions. It is calculated by finding the difference between each data point and the mean, taking the absolute value, and then finding the average of those values. This allows us to better understand the true picture of a data set and make more accurate predictions.
