Net present value method (NPV)

One important technique in financial analysis is the discounted cash flow method. This involves calculating the net present value of a project by taking into account all the cash inflows and outflows associated with it. To do this, we discount each cash flow at a specified target yield. This allows us to accurately determine the total value of the project over its lifetime.
