Invisible Supply

Think of invisible supply as the hidden stock of a commodity that is not yet accounted for in the market. It is the supply that has not been measured, separated, or stored in a physical delivery center. This concept is important in futures trading, as it affects the final settlement of contracts. Essentially, it represents the unknown factor in the supply and demand equation, adding an element of uncertainty to the market. Keep in mind, however, that this supply is not entirely invisible, as it can still be accounted for and delivered at a later time.
