Wipro Ltd, a global technology services and consulting firm announced that it is partnering with JFK International Air Terminal (JFKIAT) to modernise its operations through data-driven insights. By leveraging Microsoft Azure, Wipro is helping JFKIAT build a robust cloud data strategy to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.

The AI-powered data analytics solution will create a unified view of terminal data, enabling JFKIAT to make informed decisions and optimize operations. Key benefits include:

  • Improved Passenger Experience: Reduced queuing times through centralised data mapping and intelligent rostering.
  • Enhanced Safety and Security: Consolidated safety and security data for proactive risk management.
  • Enhanced Sustainability: Tracking of sustainability metrics to support environmental goals.

Deepak Parameswaran, Vice President & Sector Head of Energy, Manufacturing & Resources at Wipro Limited, said, “We are leveraging our deep airport domain expertise in data operations and digital transformation to implement solutions that generate revenue streams and optimise operational efficiencies. By leveraging data analytics and AI, Wipro will help JFK International Air Terminal achieve its ambition of being a data-driven organisation.”

“At JFKIAT, we’re continuing to embrace innovative technologies that strengthen our day-to-day operations and create a seamless customer experience. This new solution will allow us to centralise our critical data sets into a new data lake and break down information silos to improve insights to enhance our decision-making,” said Steve Tukavkin, Vice President of IT and Digital, JFKIAT. “We’re very proud to partner with Wipro as we transform T4 into a world-class terminal.”

Eve Machol, Microsoft Americas Director of Airport/Transportation Industry, adds, “Microsoft is proud of our collaboration with Wipro to enable this transformational capability.
