Indian headline indices remained flat despite substantial gains in the information technology, consumer durables, and banking sectors. However, the utilities, power, auto, and real estate sectors experienced notable losses.

At 10:25 am, the BSE Sensex added 0.10%, reaching a level of 73,169. The Nifty 50 index edged up by 0.05% to the 22,210 level. On the Sensex, Tata Consultancy Services, Tata Motors and State Bank of India were among the top gainers, whereas Asian Paints, Maruti Suzuki and Mahindra & Mahindra were among the market draggers.

  • Jindal Stainless Ltd

    Shares of Jindal Stainless Ltd, which experienced a sevenfold surge in trading volume today, encountered a slight decline after reaching a 52-week high of Rs 673.75 per share on the BSE in the last trading session. It is one of the largest manufacturers of stainless-steel flat products in India, which are used in a variety of industries such as automobile, railways, construction, consumer goods, etc.

  • Triveni Turbine Ltd

    Triveni Turbine Ltd witnessed a fivefold surge in trading volume as its shares surged over 8% to attain a 52-week high of Rs 498.30 per share on the BSE. The company’s core business revolves around manufacturing and supplying power generation equipment and solutions. It specializes in producing turbines for a wide array of industries including sugar, cement, chemicals, textiles, paper, steel, biomass power, distillery, waste-to-energy, carbon black, and defence.

  • Cupid Ltd

    Shares of Cupid Ltd maintained their robust upward momentum, reaching consecutive record highs and being locked at a 5% upper circuit, hitting a 52-week high of Rs 2,722.35 per share on the BSE. With a year-to-date return of 130%, the company has already delivered multibagger gains to investors. Cupid Ltd operates in the business of dealing, marketing, and manufacturing rubber contraceptives and related prophylactic products.
