The domestic indices showed robust upward momentum, with metals, real estate, and healthcare sectors leading the gains. Broad market sentiment also reflected strong investor optimism. However, telecommunications stocks experienced a significant correction today following a strong rally in the previous trading session.

At 10:05 am, the BSE Sensex surged 0.36% reaching a level of 73,994. The Nifty 50 index gained 0.31% to the 22,437 level. On the Sensex, JSW Steel, Tata Steel and Axis Bank were among the top gainers, whereas Asian Paints, Titan and Hindustan Unilever Ltd were among the market draggers.

    Shares of Cyient DLM Ltd witnessed a remarkable eight times surge in trading volume today, propelling them up by more than 13% to hit an intraday high of Rs 779.55 per share on the BSE. Renowned for its role as a reliable partner in electronics and mechanical manufacturing, as well as systems supply for major players across various sectors, the company offers integrated manufacturing solutions.

  2. Oriental Rail Infrastructure Ltd

    During the early trades of today’s trading session, shares of Oriental Rail Infrastructure Ltd surged to hit the 5% upper circuit, marking a new 52-week high of Rs 311.25 per share on the BSE. The company is involved in the manufacturing, procurement, and distribution of various products such as recron, seat & berth, compreg boards, and also trades in timber woods and related products.

  3. Fertilizers & Chemicals Travancore Ltd

    Fertilizers & Chemicals Travancore Ltd witnessed a notable surge in trading volume, leading its shares to soar more than 7% and reach an intraday high of Rs 730.95 per share on the BSE. The company specializes in the manufacturing and distribution of a diverse range of fertilizers, including complex, straight, organic, biofertilizers, imported fertilizers, and their respective by-products.
