Upper Circuit Stocks Today – 26 October, 2023

On Thursday, the benchmark indices were trading lower with the Sensex down around 833 points or 1.30% at 63,215 and the Nifty-50 down around 253 points or 1.32% at 18,868. About 462 shares have advanced, 2,931 declined, and 117 are unchanged on the BSE.

Top gainers and losers on the BSE Sensex index are as follows:

The top Sensex gainer was only Axis Bank whereas the top Sensex losers were Bajaj FinServ Ltd, Bajaj Finance Ltd, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd and Tech Mahindra Ltd.

The indices in the broader markets were trading lower, with the BSE Mid-cap index down 2% and the BSE Small-cap index down 2.2%, respectively. The top mid-cap gainers were 3M India Ltd and JSW Energy Ltd while the top small-cap gainers were Gulf Oil Lubricants India Ltd and Jay Bharat Maruti Ltd.

All the sectoral indices were trading in red with The BSE Realty Ltd Index and BSE Utilities Index being the top gainers. The BSE Realty Index plunged by 2.60%, down by Macrotech Developers Ltd and India Bulls Real Estate Ltd and the BSE Utilities Index down by 2.15% led by Adani Power Ltd and Adani Green Ltd.

In the pre-opening session, these 3 stocks were trending: Sonata Software Ltd, Prism Johnson Ltd and MrsJS Bectors Food Specialities Ltd.
