Radico Khaitan has successfully commenced operations at its new 350 KLPD greenfield grain distillery in Sitapur, Uttar Pradesh, along with a 15 MW captive power plant. Covering an expansive 107 acres, this Sitapur greenfield project is poised to bolster the company’s branded business and ensure a stable supply of ENA to both local manufacturing and contract bottling units.

This facility incorporates cutting-edge technologies and eco-friendly manufacturing methods. Alongside the Rampur campus, the ENA production at the Sitapur plant is poised to sustain the growth of our branded business for the next 7-10 years.

The entire campus will generate its own power needs, primarily relying on biomass and non-carbon fuels. Alongside an annual ENA/absolute alcohol production capacity exceeding 10 crore litres, the campus boasts a bottling capacity exceeding 15 million cases. Furthermore, the company has established a malt maturation capacity of 10,000 barrels at the Sitapur campus.

Today, the stock opened at Rs 1,226.95, with a high and low of Rs 1,248.20 and Rs 1,205.50. The stock has a 52-week high of Rs 1,478.45 and a 52-week low of Rs 910. The current market cap of Radico Khaitan Ltd is Rs 16,646.60 crore. Presently, promoters hold a 40.27% stake whereas the institutional and non-institutional holdings are 42.02 and 17.71%, respectively.

Radico Khaitan Limited, One of India’s most well-known IMFL (Indian Made Foreign Liquor) brands, was founded in 1943. Originally called Rampur Distillery Company, the business specialised in distilling and bottling alcoholic beverages for branded players and military canteens. Later in 1997, Radico Khaitan forayed into its own line of branded IMFL goods and introduced its first brand, 8PM whisky, which within a year of its introduction became their millionaire brand.
