Share Market Pre Open Updates – June 19, 2024

On June 18, 2024, the Nifty 50 rose 0.39% and closed at 23,557, and the Sensex increased 0.40%, closing at 77,301. 

Top Gainers and Losers

On the sectoral front, Nifty Realty, Nifty Consumer Durables, Nifty Private Bank and Nifty Bank ended in the green. Meanwhile, Nifty Midsmall Healthcare, Nifty Media, Nifty Healthcare and Nifty Pharma were declining. The top gainers were Hindustan Aeronautics, DMART, Samvardhana Motherson and Bosch, which showed positive movement. On the other hand, Zydus Life Corporation, Maruti Suzuki, Jindal Steel & Power, and ABB were the top losers of the day.

Jubilant Pharmova and Asian Energy Services were in the news on June 18, 2024.

• The US FDA issued 15 observations during the audit conducted at Jubilant Pharmova’s manufacturing facility. After this news, the company’s share price dropped by 3%.
• Asian Energy Services received an order of up to ₹148 crore for the coal evacuation system. After this news, the company’s share price rose by 1.20%.
