Share Market Pre Open Updates – June 12, 2024

On June 11, 2024, the Nifty 50 rose 0.02% and closed at 23,264.85, and the Sensex dropped 0.04%, closing at 76,456.59. 

Top Gainers and Losers

On the sectoral front, Nifty Media, Nifty Oil and Gas, Nifty Realty, and Nifty Auto ended in the green. Meanwhile, Nifty Healthcare, Nifty Pharma, Nifty FMCG, and Nifty Financial Services 25/50 fell. The top gainers were ONGC, IRCTC, Tata Motors Limited, and GAIL, which showed positive movement. On the other hand,  Indigo, ICICI Lombard General Insurance, DMart, Cholamandalam Investment and Finance were the top losers of the day.

Hindustan Construction Company and ONGC were in the news on June 11, 2024.

• The domestic brokerage company, Elara Securities, sees an upside of 58% from the current level in Hindustan Construction Company (HCC). As a result, the share price of HCC rose 19% 
• International brokerage firm Jefferies stated that the central government’s policy should keep the oil PSU’s profitability elevated. After this, the share price rose by 5.7%.
