In addition to offering a wide range of electricity meters and solutions to utilities, Genus Metering Solution Division (GMSD) also serves AMISP players as an OEM. Products include multifunctional single-phase and three-phase phase meters, CT-operated meters, ABT & grid meters, DT meters, payment meters, smart meters, net meters, AMI, MDAS, BCS, HES, MDM, etc. The Engineering Construction and Contracts (ECC) Division undertakes Turnkey power projects such as substation erection upto to 420 kV, Laying up of transmission & distribution lines, Rural Electrification, Switchyard, Network Refurbishment etc. The Genus Metering Infrastructure Service Provider (GMISP) division operates as an Advanced Metering Infrastructure Service Provider (“AMISP”) for smart metering on a Design Build Finance Own Operate Transfer (DBFOOT) basis. For the term of the contract, as an AMISP participant, Genus is responsible for managing all meters and associated infrastructure following the operational go-live of the AMI system in any chosen utility. It also finances and manages the entire project as an AMISP participant, and the utility complies with the terms and conditions of the AMISP contract by paying Genus the service charge every month. As an AMISP, Genus will transfer ownership of the entire system, including all hardware, software, and any data collected during the project, to the utility at the end of the contract period to enable smooth utility businesses to operate.
These subsidiaries were established to supply the Shekhawati and Marwar regions, respectively, with smart metering solutions. Through the creation of these organizations, Genus Power Infra can concentrate on satisfying the particular energy management requirements of these regions and grow its market share in smart metering. Through this calculated move, Genus Power Infra can better utilize its resources and experience to propel efficiency and innovation in the way energy services are provided to clients in these areas. Genus Power Infrastructure can effectively spearhead the implementation of smart metering technology and encourage sustainable energy practices in Shekhawati and Marwar through these subsidiaries.
