Announcements

National Stock Exchange (NSE) and the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) have declared Thursday, 15-Jan-2026, as a trading holiday on account of municipal corporation elections in Maharashtra. Trading in equity, derivatives, commodities, and other segments will be closed for the day.

Please note the following:

• BSE Equity Derivatives Contracts expiry on 15-Jan-2026, is preponed to 14-Jan-2026. 

• Commodity Derivatives will trade 05:00 pm – 11:55 pm on 15-Jan-2026.

Please note that, there will be a change in the settlement of transaction in Equity, SLB, Equity Derivatives, EGR & Commodity Derivatives segments as follows

**January 15, 2026, now stands as trading holiday for currency derivatives segment and accordingly settlement is not applicable.

Commodity Market on 15- Jan- 2026

MCX: 

• It shall be closed for trading in the Morning session from 09:00 am to 05:00 pm. The evening trading session will be open for trading from 5:00 pm to 11:55 pm (till 09:00 pm for selected Agri Commodities).

• Accordingly, there will be no settlement related activities on Thursday, 15-Jan-2026. Pay-in obligation for trade date 14-Jan-2026 shall remain blocked from the available Margin Limit of the Clearing Member on 15-Jan-2026.

NCDEX:

• It shall be closed for trading on Thursday, 15-Jan-2026.

Please note that, there will be a change in the settlement of transaction for both MCX and NCDEX
