Sub-division and bonus Issue of equity shares of EASEMYTRIP

Stock sub-division or stock split is a corporate action in which a company increases the number of its outstanding shares by issuing more shares to its existing shareholders.

Bonus Issue is one of the corporate actions where a company issues bonus shares as new or additional shares, free of cost and in proportion to the shares held by the shareholder.

As per a recent BSE circular, 

  • 1 equity share of Easy Trip Planners Ltd. (Scrip Code: 543272) of Face Value of Rs. 2 will be sub-divided into 2 equity shares of Face value of Rs. 1 each.
  • A bonus of 3 equity shares of Face value of Rs. 1 each will be issued for every 1 equity share of Face value of Rs. 1 held.
