Dividend payment by Tech Mahindra Ltd.

A dividend is an amount paid by the company to its shareholders out of its profits. These regular profit-sharing payment in the form of dividends is a corporate action initiated by the company regularly. 

As per a recent circular, Tech Mahindra (Scrip Code: 532755) has announced payment of dividend at ₹32 for the financial year 2023-24. The key dates for the same are as follows:

  • Adjustments of options contracts - The full value of the dividend shall be deducted from the strike prices generated at the end of 20-Jul-23
  • Adjustments of futures contracts - The adjusted futures price will arrive at the reference rate less the dividend amount 
  • Adjusted rates/strike prices will be available for trading w.e.f 21-Jul-23
