Indian markets are likely to open flat tracking the SGX Nifty Asian markets.
US markets closed slightly higher Tuesday as investors exercised caution ahead of a meeting between President Donald Trump and Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping. The Dow Jones Industrial Average closed up 0.2% at 20689. The SP 500 index finished up 0.1% at 2360 with the energy and materials sectors leading gainers.
The UK markets rose for the first time in four sessions on Tuesday boosted by a weaker pound with preciousmetals miners among the biggest advancers on the back of solid gains for gold and silver prices. The FTSE 100 climbed 0.5% to end at 7322 rebounding from a 0.5% drop on Monday.
Indian markets were closed on Tuesday. On Monday however the rally in Indian markets continued indicating a positive start of new fiscal.
