Waaree Energies Ltd has secured an additional order to supply 212 MW of solar modules from an international customer operating utility-scale renewable energy projects. The company said the order was received on 16 July 2026.
This follows an earlier 350 MW contract from the same customer, taking the total order awarded by the client to 562 MW, according to the company's stock exchange filing.
The latest contract is for the one-time supply of solar modules, with deliveries planned during financial year 2026-27. Waaree has not disclosed the value of the order or identified the customer.
The filing describes the buyer as an international company that owns and manages utility-scale renewable power projects. No project location or technical specifications have been shared.
The new order adds to an existing supply agreement rather than representing a new customer win. With the latest allocation, the total capacity awarded by the customer has increased from 350 MW to 562 MW.
Apart from the revised capacity, the company has not disclosed any changes to the scope of supply or other commercial terms.
Waaree stated that neither its promoters nor promoter group entities have any interest in the organisation awarding the contract. The company further said the order does not fall within the scope of a related-party transaction under applicable regulations.
These disclosures form part of the information required for material corporate announcements under SEBI norms.
As part of the filing, Waaree said the order has been placed by an international entity and classified the contract as a one-time order. The company also confirmed that the supply will be completed during FY27.
