Haryana-based steel tubes and pipes manufacturer Vibhor Steel Tubes Ltd (VSTL) has secured a new order worth ₹16.87 crore for the supply of fabricated and galvanised towers.
The order has been awarded by Agrawal Infracab, a well-known manufacturer of cables and conductors used in overhead power transmission and distribution networks across India. The contract highlights VSTL’s growing presence in the infrastructure and power transmission equipment segment.
The order involves the supply of fabricated and galvanised towers, commonly used in infrastructure projects that require strong and durable structural components.
These towers are designed to offer high strength, corrosion resistance and long operational life, making them suitable for power transmission lines and other heavy-duty infrastructure applications.
The order from Agrawal Infracab further strengthens VSTL’s position as a supplier of specialised steel products for the power and infrastructure sectors.
Earlier this year, Vibhor Steel Tubes commissioned a greenfield manufacturing project in Odisha with a capacity of 1.56 lakh metric tonnes per annum.
The facility represents an investment of ~₹119.83 crore and has enabled the company to diversify its product offerings. The plant produces several value-added products including crash barriers, power transmission line towers, electric resistance welded pipes and galvanised pipes.
The commissioning of the Odisha unit has significantly increased the company’s total production capacity to 377,000 metric tonnes per annum across its three plants located in Maharashtra, Telangana and Odisha.
VSTL manufactures a wide range of steel products including electric resistance welded pipes, hot-dipped galvanised pipes, hollow section pipes and primer painted pipes. The company also has a contract manufacturing agreement with Jindal Pipes to produce finished goods under the Jindal Star brand.
Currently, more than 80% of the company’s total turnover is generated from this segment, reflecting the importance of the partnership in its overall business operations.
Commenting on the development, Mr Vijay Kaushik, Chairman and Executive Director, Vibhor Steel Tubes, said, “We have been witnessing a buoyant demand for value added steel products backed by a steady growth in infrastructure projects across the country. This order is a testament of our strong manufacturing capabilities and our commitment to deliver high-quality fabricated and galvanised steel towers reinforcing our position as a trusted partner in the fast-growing infrastructure and power transmission sectors. We have seen a healthy growth in our order book this year and we are confident of sustaining the growth momentum moving forward.”
On March 20, 2026, Vibhor Steel Tubes share price opened at ₹112.85, touching the day’s high at ₹119.00, as of 11:55 AM on the NSE.
