The project will be executed by a WABAG-led joint venture with Heavy Engineering Industries & Shipbuilding Company K.S.C. (HEISCO) on a Design, Build, Operate basis. The construction is scheduled to span 36 months, followed by a 5-year Operation & Maintenance period.
Supporting Kuwait's Clean Energy Goals
The plant will feature on-site Solar Photovoltaic (PV) systems to meet part of its energy needs, aligning with Kuwait's clean-energy objectives and reducing the facility's carbon footprint.
This initiative supports the country's long-term water security and sustainability goals.
