Urban Company's quick-service vertical, InstaHelp, recently achieved a significant milestone by exceeding 1 million monthly bookings in March, as per the exchange filings.
This is a notable feat for a service that has been operational for just under a year, reflecting the increasing demand for convenient and instant housekeeping solutions.
InstaHelp was launched to provide immediate housekeeping services including cleaning, dishwashing, laundry, and meal preparation.
It has scaled rapidly, highlighting Urban Company's capability to meet customer needs efficiently. In February, the company reported 8,40,000 to 8,50,000 orders, indicating continued growth in March.
On February 22, 2026, InstaHelp recorded 51,520 bookings in a single day, marking an impressive achievement for the platform.
Urban Company's CEO, Abhiraj Singh Bhal, expressed that InstaHelp’s growth evidences consumer trust in the platform for their daily needs.
The success of InstaHelp coincides with the overall surge in demand for instant housekeeping services. Competitors like Snabbit and Pronto are also experiencing rapid growth.
Snabbit reported 8,30,000 orders in February, a significant increase from 5,00,000 in December. Similarly, Pronto scaled to over 15,000 bookings per day within just 10 months of its launch.

InstaHelp's success also comes with financial challenges, as its Ebitda loss increased to ₹61 crore in the December quarter of FY26 from ₹44 crore in the prior quarter.
Nevertheless, Urban Company reported a 33% YoY increase in operating revenue to ₹383 crore, driven by festive demand and growth in new users.
The surge in demand is accompanied by increased investor interest in the sector. On March 16, it was reported that Snabbit is negotiating a fresh funding round of $50-60 million, led by Mirae Asset Venture Investments and Bertelsmann India Investments. In early March, Pronto raised $25 million, placing its valuation at around $100 million.
As of March 27, 2026, at 3:30 PM, Urban Company share price on NSE was closed at ₹114.56 up by 0.42% from the previous closing price.
Urban Company’s InstaHelp achieving over 1 million bookings underscores the strong consumer demand for immediate housekeeping services. While the service continues to expand in key cities like Mumbai, Bengaluru, Delhi NCR, Hyderabad, and Pune, it faces intense competition from other startups vying for market share in this growing segment.
