United Breweries Limited has informed stock exchanges about the launch of a new variant under its Kingfisher brand. 

As per regulatory disclosure requirements, the company has announced the introduction of Kingfisher Smooth Strong Premium Beer in Rajasthan, effective January 7, 2026. 

The update was shared under SEBI Listing Regulations along with details of the product and market focus.

Regulatory Disclosure by United Breweries

United Breweries stated that the product launch has been disclosed in compliance with Regulation 30 read with Para B of Part A of Schedule III of the SEBI Listing Regulations. 

The disclosure also follows the applicable SEBI master circulars and subsequent amendments governing material events and product launches.

Details of the Product Launch

The company has introduced Kingfisher Smooth Strong Premium Beer, which falls under the strong beer category. The product became available in the Rajasthan market starting January 7, 2026.

The current rollout is limited to the domestic market, and there are no international markets involved in this phase of the launch.

Market Focus and Availability

The launch is aimed exclusively at Indian consumers, with Rajasthan being the first state where this variant is being made available. 

United Breweries has clarified that the product is not being introduced in any overseas markets at this stage.

United Breweries’ shares were trading lower during the morning session on January 8, 2026. At around 10:15 AM, the stock was priced at ₹1,557.00, down ₹18.20 or 1.16% compared to the previous close.

The stock had opened at ₹1,566.10, touched an intraday high of ₹1,583.00, and a low of ₹1,550.20. The previous closing price stood at ₹1,575.30.
