Unicommerce Share Price Surges Over 2%: Expands Partnership with Urban Company to UAE and Saudi Arabia

Urban Company and Unicommerce have expanded their existing partnership to the UAE and Saudi Arabia, as per the exchange filings.
Urban Company’s Middle East arm will use Unicommerce’s Uniware platform to handle inventory and fulfilment for its at-home services operations in the two countries.
Platform to Track Products and Supplies
Uniware will be used to keep track of service kits, products, tools and consumables needed by professionals working across Urban Company’s service network.
The system will show available stock in real time and direct orders to the relevant locations. It will also help manage replenishment and fulfilment across multiple stock points in the UAE and Saudi Arabia.
Services Covered Under the Arrangement
The supplies managed through the platform will support services such as beauty and wellness, home cleaning, and appliance maintenance.
These categories require a regular flow of products and equipment to service professionals. The platform will bring the inventory and order fulfilment processes for these supplies under one system.
Features for the UAE and Saudi Arabia
Unicommerce said its Middle East platform includes integrations with regional marketplaces, logistics providers, ERP systems, and payment platforms.
It also supports Arabic-compatible invoices and shipping labels. Local tax requirements in Saudi Arabia and the UAE are covered through features built for the two markets.
Building on the India Partnership
The latest arrangement follows the companies’ existing relationship in India, where Urban Company already uses Unicommerce’s technology for its e-commerce operations.
The partnership has now been extended as Urban Company increases its presence in the Middle East. Nitesh Agarwal, SVP – Middle East, said the region is an important market for the company.
Management Comments
Kapil Makhija, Managing Director and CEO of Unicommerce, said companies entering new markets need systems that can deal with larger and more complex backend operations.
He said Unicommerce’s focus is on automating these processes, allowing businesses to concentrate on their customer-facing operations.
