Opptra, founded by Flipkart co-founder Binny Bansal, has announced a partnership with Unicommerce to streamline and scale its operations for consumer brands across India, the GCC, and Southeast Asia.
This collaboration aims to enhance operational efficiency and accelerate growth.
Opptra will leverage Unicommerce’s flagship Uniware platform to manage orders, inventory, and fulfilment operations as it scales its over more than 33 brand portfolio across Asia.
This partnership combines Opptra’s market expansion capabilities with Unicommerce’s AI-led e-commerce and fulfilment technology stack.
Opptra operates as an AI-native distributor, taking total ownership of a brand’s online growth, including marketplace operations, pricing, advertising, content, fulfilment, and customer service.
As the Importer of Record across India, the GCC, and Southeast Asia, Opptra launches and scales brands in Asia’s fastest-growing markets.
Through this partnership, Opptra will run its multi-region operations on Uniware, managing orders, inventory, and fulfilment across warehouses, stores, and sales channels through a single dashboard.
This integration provides Opptra with a connected operational backbone across every market it serves.
Backed by Unicommerce’s over more than 350 integrations with marketplaces, logistics providers, shopping carts, POS systems, and accounting platforms, the partnership offers brands a more plug-and-play approach to cross-border commerce.
Unicommerce’s operational capabilities across these regions include local language support for labels and invoices and taxation support in the UAE, helping brands simplify and scale international operations more seamlessly.
As per the exchange filings, Ranjit Babu, CEO, Electronics & General Merchandise at Opptra said, “E-commerce in Asia isn’t one problem, it’s several. Fragmented marketplaces, market-by-market compliance, and fulfilment networks that don’t talk to each other. We take all of that on as our brands’ in-market operator, owning the commercial decisions and the execution end to end.”
Kapil Makhija, MD & CEO of Unicommerce said, “The next phase of e-commerce growth will be driven by brands that can scale seamlessly across channels, partners, and geographies without increasing operational complexity. At Unicommerce, we are building an AI-led commerce infrastructure layer that enables businesses to automate operations, improve decision-making, and scale more efficiently.”
