Trent share price witnessed sharp selling pressure during morning trade on Tuesday despite the company reporting double-digit revenue growth and continued store expansion in the quarter ended June 2026 (Q1 FY27). 

Trent Q1 FY27 Business Update 

Trent reported standalone revenue from operations (excluding GST) of ₹5,666 crore in Q1 FY27, compared with ₹4,781 crore in the corresponding quarter last year, registering a 19% year-on-year (YoY) growth. 

Revenue from the sale of merchandise, excluding other operating income, also increased 19% YoY during the quarter ended June 2026. 

As of June 30, 2026, Trent's retail portfolio comprised 1,312 stores, including: 

  • 301 Westside stores  

  • 982 Zudio stores, including 7 stores in the UAE  

  • 29 stores across other lifestyle concepts  

During the quarter, the company recorded a net addition of 1 Westside store and 19 Zudio stores. 

Trent Share Price Performance 

As of July 7, 2026, at 10:42 AM, Trent share price was ₹2,967.50 each on the NSE, down ₹376.30 or 11.25%. 

The stock opened at ₹3,080.00 and touched an intraday high of ₹3,080.00 and a low of ₹2,963.00. Trent's market capitalisation stood at ₹1,58,183.36 crore. 

Over the past 1 week, the stock has declined 9.63%, compared with a 2.56% gain in the Nifty 50. Over the last 1 month, Trent has delivered an absolute return of 6.93%, while the benchmark index has gained 4.75%. 

Trent Shareholding Pattern 

The latest available shareholding pattern shows that the promoter holding remained unchanged at 37.01% as of the March 2026 quarter. 

During the same period, foreign institutional investors (FIIs) reduced their stake to 15.59% from 18.39% in June 2025. In contrast, domestic institutional investors (DIIs) increased their holding to 22.19% from 18.42% over the same period. 

Conclusion 

Trent reported 19% YoY growth in standalone revenue during Q1 FY27 and continued expanding its retail network with additional Westside and Zudio stores. Despite the operational update, Trent share price traded lower during morning trade on July 7, 2026.
