Texmaco Rail Share Price in Focus; Gets Additional ₹412 Crore Railway Wagon Order

Texmaco Rail & Engineering has received an order amendment from the Ministry of Railways for 1,020 more BOXNS wagons, worth ₹412.32 crore. The Railway Board issued the amendment on October 28 under an option clause in the original contract. 

Delivery Deadline Set for June 2027 

The additional wagons will be supplied at the same prices and under the same terms as the original contract. Texmaco has been given 162 days beyond the revised delivery period to complete the extra quantity, with the deadline set for June 11, 2027. 

The company’s filing puts the amended contract value at ₹1,786.74 crore, including taxes. The order is domestic and covers the manufacture and supply of BOXNS wagons. 

What the Order Adds 

The amendment increases the number of wagons Texmaco is contracted to deliver without changing the original pricing and conditions. The company disclosed the details in a stock exchange filing dated October 29.

Texmaco Rail & Engineering Price Performance 

As of October 29, 2026, at 3:28 PM, Texmaco Rail & Engineering share price was trading at ₹104.14 per share, reflecting a 3.31% surge from previous closing price. 

Conclusion 

The additional ₹412.32 crore order raises Texmaco Rail’s contracted supply to 4,420 BOXNS wagons. Delivery of the added quantity is scheduled to run until June 11, 2027.
