
Texmaco Rail & Engineering Ltd has received a fresh order worth ₹132 crore through its joint venture, Touax Texmaco Railcar Leasing Private Limited, reinforcing its position in India’s freight rail manufacturing segment.
The order relates to the supply of a rake comprising BLSS wagons and BVCM wagons and will be executed in multiple tranches over the next several months.
According to a regulatory filing dated December 15, 2025, Touax Texmaco Railcar Leasing Private Limited, a joint venture promoted by Texmaco Rail, has placed an order valued at ₹132 crore excluding taxes.
The scope of work involves the supply of a full rake of BLSS wagons along with BVCM wagons. The order has been awarded by a domestic entity and will be executed in phases, with completion targeted by July 2026.
The transaction qualifies as a related party order as Texmaco Rail is one of the promoters of Touax Texmaco Railcar Leasing Private Limited. The company clarified that the contract has been awarded on an arm’s length basis and that no conflict of interest arises from the transaction.
Execution will be staggered, allowing Texmaco Rail to align production schedules and delivery timelines with operational requirements.
As of December 15, 2025, at 2:21 PM, Texmaco Rail share price is trading at ₹127.46 per share, reflecting a surge of 1.23% from the previous closing price.
