
Tejas Networks has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar to promote innovation, research, and skill development in emerging telecom technologies. The collaboration aims to strengthen industry–academia engagement and support the development of advanced telecom solutions aligned with national priorities.
Under this partnership, the two organisations will work together on research initiatives in next-generation telecom technologies. The collaboration is expected to support projects related to both wireline and wireless communication systems. By combining industry expertise with academic research capabilities, the partnership seeks to accelerate innovation and develop practical telecom solutions.
As part of the agreement, a telecom Centre of Excellence will be established at IIT Gandhinagar. This centre will serve as a hub for training, research, and innovation in telecom technologies. It will also focus on deployment-oriented learning, helping students and professionals gain hands-on experience in real-world telecom applications.
