Tejas Networks Share Price Up Over 8% After ₹1,537 Crore BSNL 4G LoI from TCS

Tejas Networks Ltd has received a Letter of Intent (LoI) from Tata Consultancy Services Ltd (TCS) for supplies related to BSNL’s 4G mobile network. The LoI, dated August 27, 2026, is valued at ₹1,537 crore.
The proposed work covers 18,685 sites under the BSNL 4G network project. Tejas Networks disclosed the development in a filing dated August 27, 2026.
Equipment and Materials Included
According to the company’s filing, the scope of the LoI includes the supply of Radio Access Network (RAN) equipment. It also covers accessories and installation materials required for the BSNL 4G mobile network.
The filing does not provide a break-up of the ₹1,537 crore value between the equipment, accessories and installation materials. It also does not set out details of the individual sites covered under the proposed supply.
Detailed Purchase Order to Follow
The Letter of Intent will be followed by a detailed purchase order from TCS, Tejas Networks said. The company stated that the purchase order would be issued in due course.
No date has been provided for the issue of the detailed order. The exchange filing also does not mention the delivery period, execution timeline or other terms relating to the proposed supplies.
Development Follows Earlier Filing
Tejas Networks referred to an earlier communication dated May 21, 2025, while disclosing the latest development. The August 27 LoI from TCS was reported as a further update to that earlier communication.
BSNL 4G Supply Scope
The proposed supply is for BSNL’s 4G mobile network and spans 18,685 sites. Tejas Networks is expected to supply the RAN equipment and associated materials once the detailed purchase order is issued.
The company has not disclosed any further terms beyond the value and broad scope of the LoI. The detailed purchase order from TCS is still awaited.
