Tata Motors Share Price in Focus as Iveco Tender Offer Reaches 89.42% Stake

Tata Motors indirect subsidiary has secured acceptances for 89.42% of Iveco's share capital, excluding treasury shares, under its tender offer.

Tata Motors tender offer for Iveco Group has received acceptances for 238.15 million shares, taking the proposed holding of its indirect subsidiary TML CV Holdings B.V. to 89.42% of Iveco's common share capital, excluding treasury shares.

The provisional results were announced on October 27, following the close of the initial acceptance period a day earlier. The threshold condition has been met, subject to confirmation of the results.

The shares tendered represent around 87.81% of Iveco's common share capital. At the revised offer price, their total value comes to approximately €3.43 billion.

Tata Motors increased the offer by €0.30 per share on October 9, taking the price from €14.10 to €14.40, including dividends. Payment for shares accepted during the first round is scheduled for October 30.

Iveco Offer Window to Reopen in November

Iveco shareholders who did not accept the offer during the initial period will get another opportunity if the provisional results are confirmed and the remaining conditions are met.

The acceptance period is scheduled to reopen from November 2 to November 6, covering five trading days. Payment for shares tendered during this period is set for November 13.

As of 27 October 2026, at 10:49 AM, Tata Motors Ltd share price is trading at ₹263.40 per share, reflecting a decline of 0.11% from the previous trading session.
