Tata Communications Share Price in Focus; Dissolves Indirect Subsidiary BUC Mobile

Tata Communications confirmed the dissolution of its US indirect subsidiary BUC Mobile effective February 16, 2026.

Tata Communications has informed exchanges that its wholly owned indirect subsidiary, BUC Mobile, Inc., has been voluntarily dissolved. The entity was incorporated in Delaware, United States. The dissolution became effective from 16 February 2026 after completion of the required filings with the Secretary of State of Delaware. 

The company received confirmation of the development through an email communication dated 25 February 2026. 

BUC Mobile Financial Contribution 

During FY25, BUC Mobile contributed ₹766.70 crore in turnover, accounting for 3.32% of Tata Communications’ consolidated revenue. Its net worth stood at ₹790.15 crore, representing 12.87% of the company’s consolidated net worth for the same period. 

No Sale or Consideration 

The company stated that no agreement for sale or disposal was executed in relation to the subsidiary. As the entity has been dissolved, no consideration has been received from the process. 

There were no buyers involved in the transaction. The dissolution did not involve any promoter group participation or related party transaction. 

Nature of the Closure 

The company clarified that the development does not form part of any scheme of arrangement. It also does not involve a slump sale or transfer of undertaking. 

The closure shows the completion of regulatory procedures required under the laws of the State of Delaware. 

Regulatory Filing 

The disclosure was submitted to both NSE and BSE Limited. It has also been made available on the company’s investor relations website.

Tata Communications Share Price Performance  

As of February 27, 2026, 11:27 am, Tata Communications share price was trading at ₹1,591.70, a 4.13% decrease from the previous closing price. 

Conclusion 

BUC Mobile has ceased to exist as an indirect subsidiary of Tata Communications with effect from 16 February 2026. The company confirmed that no financial proceeds were received following the dissolution.
