Symphony Share Price Surges 7% as it Plans to Enter AC, Ceiling Fan and Air Purifier Markets

Symphony Limited is planning to expand beyond air coolers in India. The company will start selling room air conditioners, BLDC ceiling fans and air purifiers as part of a phased rollout, as per the exchange filing.
The new products are planned to be introduced from the December 2026 quarter. Symphony said it will start with selected products, markets and sales channels instead of launching everything at once.
Symphony to Add Three New Product Categories
The company plans to enter three categories — room air conditioners, BLDC ceiling fans and air purifiers. This will give Symphony more products to sell in the Indian consumer-durables market.
No New Manufacturing Plant Planned
Symphony said it currently does not plan to set up its own manufacturing facilities for these products. The expansion will follow an asset-light model.
The company plans to use its internal funds gradually for product development, inventory, marketing, distribution, service support, and working capital.
Products to Launch from December 2026 Quarter
The rollout is expected to begin from the December 2026 quarter. Symphony said the pace of the expansion will depend on how customers respond to the products and how ready the company is to sell and service them.
