
Suzlon Energy has secured a new 400 MW Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) contract from Tata Power Renewable Energy Limited (TPREL).
The latest order takes the cumulative partnership between Suzlon and TPREL to over 1 GW across Karnataka, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, and Andhra Pradesh.
The new contract has been awarded under Suzlon's newly launched DevCo business model.
According to the company, this is the fourth order received from TPREL and the second repeat order within the last 12 months.
The 400 MW wind energy project will be executed in the Anantapur district of Andhra Pradesh.
With this order, Suzlon's order book in Andhra Pradesh has reached close to One GW, while its installed wind energy capacity in the state stands at 1.8 GW.
As part of the project, Suzlon will supply 127 S144 wind turbine generators, each with a rated capacity of 3.15 MW.
The company will also execute the project under its EPC model, covering land acquisition, turbine supply, Balance of Plant (BoP), Pooling Substation (PSS), Extra High Voltage (EHV) line, commissioning, and operations and maintenance services.
The latest order takes Suzlon and Tata Power Renewables' cumulative partnership beyond 1 GW.
The companies are currently working together on four projects across Karnataka, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, and Andhra Pradesh.
As of 25 June 2026, at 11:51 AM, Suzlon Energy share price was trading at ₹57.72 per share, reflecting a decline of 0.33% from the previous trading session.
