
Suzlon Energy has notified the NSE and BSE that it has cleared a ₹1 lakh penalty imposed by the Central Ground Water Authority. The action relates to a delayed application for a groundwater usage NOC.
The company stated that the matter was settled on 4 December 2025 and confirmed that the issue does not materially affect its operations.
Suzlon Energy issued an update under SEBI’s Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements, informing the exchanges of a penalty levied by the Central Ground Water Authority (CGWA).
The penalty arose because the company submitted its application for a groundwater usage NOC later than required. The payment was made on 4 December 2025.

As of 5 December 2025 at 09:30 AM, Suzlon Energy’s shares were trading steadily, with the last traded price recorded at ₹50.97, reflecting a marginal increase of ₹0.12 or 0.24% from the previous close of ₹50.85.

Suzlon Energy’s filing indicates that the penalty for the delayed groundwater NOC application has been settled and that the matter carries no substantial impact on its operations or financial position.
