On July 3, 2026, an investigation was initiated against Mr. Sreekant Sreedharan by the Special Investigation and Intelligence branch of the Customs Department.
Following this, judicial custody was granted by the CMM court until July 17, 2026. The proceedings are related to a procedural lapse in a single export transaction.
