
Sterling Wilson Renewable Energy Limited has announced the resolution of a material litigation involving its subsidiary, Sterling and Wilson Solar Solutions Inc.
The resolution comes as a result of a settlement agreement with the involved parties, ensuring no financial impact on the company.
On April 20, 2026, Sterling and Wilson Solar Solutions Inc., a wholly owned step-down subsidiary of Sterling Wilson Renewable Energy, entered into a settlement agreement with Fidelity and Deposit Company of Maryland and Zurich American Insurance Company.
The agreement aims to release and discharge all claims and counterclaims between the parties. Following this, a motion for dismissal was filed, and the United States District Court, Eastern District of Washington, passed an order of dismissal of the legal proceedings.
The legal proceedings were related to the encashment of a bond by Sterling and Wilson Solar Solutions Inc. against the aforementioned insurance companies.
The settlement agreement effectively ends the legal dispute, with all parties agreeing to release each other from any further claims or liabilities.
The settlement has no material financial impact on Sterling Wilson Renewable Energy. The company has confirmed that the matter stands closed with no further claims or liabilities remaining.
This resolution ensures that the company's financial position remains unaffected by the litigation.

Sterling Wilson Renewable Energy has complied with the SEBI Listing Regulations by disclosing the settlement under Regulation 30, read with Para B of Part A of Schedule III.
The company initially disclosed the proceedings on August 14, 2023, and has now provided an update following the settlement.
As of April 22, 2026, at 10:22 AM, Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy share price on NSE was trading at ₹212.01 up by 1.19% from the previous closing price.
