
Simplex Castings Limited announced that it has secured a trial order from BHEL Varanasi for the supply of fabricated and machined assemblies required for an 803 HP mill. The order, valued at approximately ₹7.26 crore, strengthens the company’s ongoing engagement with Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited in supplying components for the power and heavy engineering sector.
The order covers the manufacturing and supply of several engineered components including the Mill Side and Liner Assembly – 803 HP Mill, Separator Body Assembly – 803 HP Mill, and Separator Top fabricated and machined components. These parts will be produced in accordance with BHEL’s engineering drawings and technical specifications.
The purchase order consists of 10 units of each component, bringing the total order value to ₹7,25,72,500. The project involves precision fabrication and machining work designed for heavy-duty industrial applications.
Promoter, Chairman and Executive Director Ketan Shah said, “This order further strengthens our long-standing relationship with BHEL and reflects their continued trust in our manufacturing capabilities and product quality. The order gives us immense confidence in the quality and reliability of our heavy fabrication capabilities.”
He added, “We are fully committed to delivering this engagement with the same consistency and just-in-time precision that our customers have come to expect. We view this as the foundation of a potentially large and enduring partnership.”
Shah also noted that the company is currently in advanced discussions with several prospective customers in both domestic and international markets, with some of them recently visiting the company’s manufacturing facilities in Chhattisgarh. According to him, these engagements have the potential to translate into substantial order inflows in the near to medium term.
