
Shyam Metalics & Energy Limited has released its consolidated operational update for June 2026 and Q1 FY27, highlighting substantial growth across key product segments, as per the exchange filings.
The company experienced notable volume increases in Pig Iron and Pellets, along with improved realisations in Aluminium Foil and Stainless Steel.
Pig Iron saw a YoY volume growth of 156.52%, reaching 95,508 MT in June FY27 compared to 37,232 MT in June FY26. Realisation increased by 19.22% YoY to ₹38,780/MT.
This growth was driven by the commissioning of the 0.77 MTPA Blast Furnace at Jamuria in November 2024 and the 0.45 MTPA Blast Furnace at Ramsarup in December 2025, which stabilised production and boosted outputs.
Pellet volumes grew by 92.26% YoY, with 1,55,563 MT in June FY27 compared to 80,913 MT in June FY26. QoQ volume growth was 40.50%, with 3,91,074 MT in Q1 FY27 versus 2,78,341 MT in Q4 FY26. Realisation rose by 2.21% YoY to ₹8,539/MT.
Stainless Steel experienced a YoY volume growth of 40.21%, with 7,942 MT in June FY27 compared to 5,665 MT in June FY26. Realisation increased by 23.15% YoY to ₹1,76,588/MT. Although volumes decreased by 14.84% QoQ, realisations gained 18.04% QoQ.
Aluminium Foil saw a YoY volume growth of 20.68%, with 2,151 MT in June FY27 compared to 1,783 MT in June FY26, and realisation jumped by 39.32% YoY to ₹5,03,400/MT.
CR Coil/CR Sheets recorded a YoY volume growth of 53.46%, with 18,293 MT in June FY27 compared to 11,920 MT in June FY26. Realisation increased by 20.53% YoY to ₹89,172/MT.
The Phase II (0.15 MTPA) of the Colour Coated Steel Plant at Jamuria was commissioned in April 2026, and operations have stabilised. Speciality Alloys saw a YoY volume growth of 0.75%, with realisation increasing by 21.70% YoY to ₹1,09,775/MT.
Carbon Steel experienced a YoY volume growth of 16.53%, with realisation mildly up by 0.56% YoY to ₹43,338/MT. Sponge Iron volumes dropped by 28.28% YoY to 61,765 MT, though realisations rose by 4.40% YoY to ₹23,580/MT.
HR Tube/Pipe volumes declined by 49.94% YoY to 144 MT, while realisations improved by 14.14% YoY to ₹57,106/MT.
