The contract awarded to Shakti Pumps entails the design, manufacture, supply, transport, installation, testing, and commissioning of off-grid DC solar photovoltaic water pumping systems.
These systems, with capacities of 3 HP, 5 HP, and 7.5 HP, are part of the Magel Tyala Saur Krushi Pump Yojana/PM Kusum B Scheme.
The total contract value, inclusive of GST, is ₹356.77 crore, and the project is to be executed within 60 days from the issuance of the work order or notice to proceed.
The timeline for the completion of this project is set at 60 days from the date of the work order issuance. This tight schedule underscores the importance of timely execution in meeting the state's renewable energy goals.
